My class blog!!!!
My friends and i aren’t the only ones that have a blog. Our teacher does too. We made a blog after her, because we thought it was so cool to have one. Her blog is called Mrs. Comincioli’s Classroom Corner. We put a lot of stuff about our school and stuff going on in our class. We got questions from a class in England. We made a post answering those questions. To find out stuff happening in our class and school you can also go to my Teachers blog. I put it on my blogroll so you can go there faster.
Band is so fun. There are a lot of instruments to choose from. Some of the instruments are: Clarinet, baritone, trombone, oboe, trumpet, flute, saxophone, french horn, and percussion. I play the clarinet. you have to learn about the instrument. you have t first learn the top then work your way down, you have to learn your basic notes, and then go on to the harder ones.those are the only instruments you can choose from in 5Th grade. you can play different instruments in other grades. sometimes there are fund raisers. so if you want to buy something, you should buy it from me. Once you know how to play the instrument it gets a lot easier.
In math we Are still doing 5th,6th, 7th, and 8th grade math. a few day ago we had an icecreme party because we did really good on our maps tests. we aren’t getting much math money anymore though. We sometimes have a day called chess day. chess day is when we learn how to play chess or play chess. Its sometimes fun but sometimes boring. We are learning about sales tax, discounts, and simple intrest so far. we also learned other stuff but we already know all of that.
Our class has been working on science experiments and boards. My group did which type of paint dried the fastest. Other groups did bubblegum, fizz, candy, etc. When we finished our experiment, we started doing our science boards. We are going to have a science night on the March 23. We would be showing our experiments there. We have to make them as creative as possible, because we will be showing them to other students and parents.
