Hello people of the world! My friend Kyra here is going to Australia. It cost’s like $7,000!!!!!!! She is raising money to get enough money to go to Australia. Anyone in the  US/Illinois/Lake County area/Mundelein/Carl Sandburg Middle School can help with this fundraiser. I got another A+ on rws! YAY! This time I did it on the book called the Book Thief. It’s a long book, about 552 pages. I read it all. I was very proud of myself. 🙂 The next genre we have to read is either romance, or comedy. I would choose either one! 😀

I’m in science again! Doing this post. We are learning about birds. We did a project on a bird that we were assigned. I got the Mourning Dove. Its a nice bird. My friend at the moment is watching my orange murderer videos. Here, she wants to say something to the world!: the orange murderer video is based on me. I technically didn’t murder the orange it was our friend Nicole. I just helped out at the end of the poor orange’s life. (the nicole is not the nicole on nicoles blog)

Hi! In school (language Arts) we have a project due on Monday!!! Its an rws project. We had to read a book and make a 5-6 minute newscast on it. We also have to do two projects on it. I read the Door in the Lake. Its a science fiction book. Its also an easy read. Well yea, you can see its a lot of work. 🙂

Well in Science right now, everyone is finishing up their invasive species projects. One of my friends has the Emerald Ash Borer and my other friend has the Asian Longhorned Beetle! I got the pretty flower called the Garlic Mustard, as you can recall from two posts below. I am helping my friends, because I am done with everything i need to do, and so I am just making a post in science!

Hello people of the world again! In science, we have to do an invasive species project. I got assigned the plant called the Garlic Mustard. We have to research the species and make a power point out of it. I finished mine before anyone else did. The Garlic Mustard is actually a very pretty flower with a name that is just plain weird. One of the things I learned was that the crushed stems and leaves of the Garlic Mustard tend to give of a garlic fragrance. The garlic fits in the name, but I have no idea how Mustard came to be. I would’ve named it the Garlic Fairy of the Garlic Ghost. Well I will add more about the Garlic Mustard later!

School is back. I started right when I got back from My glorious trip to India. This is my schedule

By reading the title, you can notice my birthday is almost here!!!!!!!!! 😀

Halloween is on it’s way. Terror and horror coming together to create one massive conclusion. Trick or treat! Would you trick or would you treat the little kids who come over to your house for candy. I would certainly treat, but some people out there would rather trick than treat. Well they first trick, then they treat. I was in that situation 2 years ago. Scariest Halloween ever. I was walking with my friend down the block. She knows this house that always puts up a haunted house. She made me go in. I was terrified. And I mean terrified…We went inside. There was a table covered with all those fake arms and potions and things that aren’t very scary. So I step closer to the table, and from under the table, SOMETHING GRABS MY FOOT! I was sooooooooooo creeped out. I really didn’t scream. I probably was screaming in my head though. Horrible.   

Last year, I went with a group of friends. We started trick or treating. After a couple of hours, we went to this place we haven’t been. So two of the people we were trick or treating with got lost. luckily, they had their cell phone with them so we guided them to one of our friends homes. It was hard, but we got it. Finally, they found us, and we walked all the way back home, with horrifying things in our path……

Hello. I am back from India. It has been like 2 weeks since I got back. I saw Family and had a lot of fun. Then we went to other places we’ve never been too. I actually saw the Taj Mahal. It was soooo pretty and beautiful. I would have never had the patience to build that. I and my family had a fun time in India.

I probably won’t be adding new posts for a while, because I am on vacation in India. GO INDIA! When I get back home, I will add a lot more stuff, like my trip and so.

Hey everyone! Summer band is when we can get some help with our music. Our school holds auditions so they can see how good we are. We have been playing most of our audition stuff which is kinda hard. Today was the last day. There was a total of two weeks, Monday-Friday,9:45-11:15. We played our instruments a little, then we went outside and had water balloon tosses. My friend and I got third place in the first round. We got a bag of ring pops! Four in each. Not a lot. But still, it’s CANDY!!!! The water balloon toss ended up with a water balloon fight. I got soaked. Then we had freezy pops (flavored ice). I had my two favorite colors, blue and green. They taste really good. Well that was Summer Band!!!!!!

SCHOOL IS FINALLY OUT! We have Summer Break until August 16th! I’m soooooo happy! 😀

Last Friday, we took a field trip to Kristofs. Kristofs is this place where  there is an arcade, bowling alley, go-karting, batting cages, and a mini golf course. It was really fun! The first thing I went on were the go-karts, then mini golfing, then bowling, then had lunch and last but not least, I went to the arcade. I had good luck that day in the arcade. It was awesomely fun! That also means there is only one more hour until schools out!!!

Schools almost out. We just have 2 days, 1 field trip and 1 hour till schools out!! I can’t wait.

My poem was a success. When  I got in front of the class and recited the poem, I memorized the whole thing. I kind of mixed up two of the words in the poem, though I didnt get points taken off. So we had an awards ceremony and I got 3rd Place! I did awesome! Though everyone gets an A+ since it was a pass or fail thing.  

I am an American Idol freak! I love singing. So I was watching the finale and at that lst moment, I thought Crystal was going to win. But In the inside I was hoping it would be Lee. Since he’s from Chicago and i’m from Chicago. It makes sense. As Ryan said the winners name, all I heard was Lee and then my mom screaming in joy! I couldn’t believe he won! I was so happy and   excited and shocked at the same time! I was so happy, and I mean Happy!!!!!! YIPEE! 😀

Many people have been asking me for an rss. Well I do have one. If you go all the way to the bottom of the page, you will see an orange triangular thing with white inside, and the word rss next to that. Click on that and there you have it. I actually don’t know how to do the rest, so I think that the people who have been asking know how to do it from then on. Well thanks and bye!

My virtual pets are gone now. Apperently, they stopped working, they won’t show the animal, it only shows the html code, so I had to deleat them. I had to deleat other things too. oh well! I will still be working on my blog. Keep Visiting!

We have a day called Poetry day in language Arts. It’s where we have to memorize a poem that is 14 lines or more. We have to do this so we can practice our speaking in front of people. Our teacher says its practice for the kids in our class who want to be actors or actresses. The peom i picked is One Art by Elizabeth Bishop.  Here is the poem:

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant 
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or

Have you guys visited my virtual pets yet? well if you go down, there is a whole post on my virtual pets. Though there are three that stand out of all the rest. If you go down all the way to the bottom, you will find a pencil, scissors, and a light bulb. These are my new pets (hardware supplys). Sketchy is the pencil. It loves to write and mess up the whole thing. If you click wherever you want, the pencil will draw something. after a while, the eraser will erase all your creations. then there is snippy. Snippy loves to cut. click anywhere and it will start cutting. If you click on more, just take out the peice of paper and put it wherever you want and it will start cutting the paper. then there’s lighty. Lighty only turns on and off the light. Thats pretty much it. Well have Fun

Hi again! BAND ROX! We just had our last concert which is usually called a pops concert, since we play pop music. we played Colonel (kernal) Bogey, Bella’s Lullaby (from twilight), beat it ( by Michael Jackson), and YMCA! YMCA WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! We had to kind of dance while we were playing! It was a lot of fun. Even though we had our last band concert, we still have to play for I-Fair (look bleow). We still have to practice a lot (I think we forgot how to play some of the songs). Once again, if you never knew, I play the Clariniet! The Clarinet rox! We had our concert with the 5th graders. They also did aswesome! Well tune back in for more details for more info on a lot more stuff!

Hola People! Well there is a project at our school called the I-fair. The I-fair is when you researcha country of your choice. I chose India! Go India!! Well I will update you on this more, so just  hang on for now! We have to do reasearch on government, culture, geography, basic facts, economy, and education.

I am so happy today! I just got a pet. Though it’s not the pet I wanted. I got a fish. At least I got a pet. Well technically my sister got the fish. Her class got to do a project on habitats, so the whole class got to get a pet fish and then got to keep the fish as a pet. Our fish is a comet goldfish, which is not a common goldfish. It is a kinda greyish fish. We named him Bubbles. Well that was my first pet ever, a comet goldfish named bubbles.

The dreaded ISATS are finally over! we had a full week a of tests including reading, science, writing, and math. I’m so happy ISATS are over! Though I do have to take it again in 7th and 8th grade. Well at least it’s over!
